Bremen hopeful of Pizarro stay

07/03/2009 - Bremen, Germany (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Werder Bremen have confirmed their interest in re-signing Claudio Pizarro on a permanent basis.

The Peruvian striker spent last season on loan at the Weserstadion from Chelsea and scored 26 goals in 35 appearances.

"We are intensively working on having him here for the new season and potentially also for more than just the new campaign," revealed general manager Klaus Allofs.

"He is a great striker and has shown what he can do for the club."

Who is to say independently produced Little Miss Sunshine won't be this year's Crash.  Last year, Crash won for Best Motion Picture, shocking those who bet on gay cowboy flick, Brokeback Mountain, as the favorite to win.
